Roma Alliance Impact is a Roma-led registered charity based in Peterborough. We provide practical advice, advocacy and community programmes that help Roma families and other vulnerable groups access education, healthcare, benefits, housing support and other essential services.
We work to reduce barriers, promote equal opportunities and strengthen social inclusion, community participation and pride in Roma culture and identity.

The Romanian Roma Community in England
The Roma community in England is growing and increasingly well established. Many Roma families have their roots in Romania and came to the UK over the past two decades in search of safety, dignity, and better opportunities for their children.
Romanian is one of the main languages spoken among Roma people in England.
Most families migrated after the 2000s, following the expansion of the European Union, driven by poverty, discrimination, and social exclusion in their home country.Despite their resilience and strong community spirit, many continue to face barriers that prevent full participation in British society.
